The truth is that this Andy controversy is fabricated.



The post I am responding to makes an unsupported assumption...

He said "be in production". That doesn't mean mass production. It means initial production. Your post is false and misleading. I noted also that he said at "the earliest". Now, it may well be that in his mind he meant "full production" but "initial" is the most reasonable interpretation when mind-reading isn't required.

I think the evidence lines up more accurately with HIS prediction than the company line, which they have demonstrated repeatedly to be overly optimistic and unreliable.

I also wouldn't assume that "Andy" even wrote this. Could be an assistant.

He has no insider knowledge, he is not even speaking about Lightwave specifically.

The process of making a new chip alone can take up to a year, yesterday I looked at a few articles and this one was most enlightening:

Of course if you are using cutting edge tech and new processes it could take longer.
