I abhor this kind of vague, non-committal language. I defy anyone to tell me precisely what this statement really means. One read is that AVXL may not initiate those discussions. If not, then what? I can't believe seven months after the WGT announcement by AVXL that we still have no real sense of direction regarding regulatory approval for Blarcamesine other than the traditional approval pathway is seemingly off the table and AA is in the "we consider" territory.

I maintain my thinking that AVXL may be slow walking AD, both from a data release and a regulatory perspective with the strategy of putting shareholder focus on Rett other than the uncertainty surrounding the release of "final" data and the AD approval process. The $64,000 question is WHY that might be the case?
