What often happens is when a stock suffers a consistent decline day after day or week after week, a lot of people start thinking/fearing that someone somewhere knows something they don't so sell in a bit of panic. All you can do is shrug and if you think the drop is unwarranted and have the cash, buy a bit more. Easy to say but a lot harder to do.
