So without going into a litany of what happened in 2017. After all, what the heck do I know? Not much. Far be it from me to understand what makes a stock jump from 0.065 a share to .044 cents a share in LQMT.
So let me take a crack at it. First let me dust off the old abacus board. No, put that back. Let me take out the chalk and blackboard. No, get rid of that. What about a calculator? The heck with all of that crap. Researchfyi, do we really need to figure out how much sales it’s going to take LQMT to reach the sky? The correct answer is emphatically NO!
Then what is the correct answer?
Well let’s just take a look at some factual LQMT history.
When LQMT hit 0.44 cents in the third quarter of 2017, does anyone remember what their sales were for the year 2017? Yes? No?
Well was it $2.3 million $4.6 million or $1.7 million?
The correct answer is….. drum roll please…
None of the above. It was $321,000 dollars.
And that was for the entire year not for the quarter!
So what the heck happened Researchfyi? Well first of all some paid almost 300% more than the shares were worth back then. The rest was just based on potential, rumors, more potential, more hype, more rumors and more hype.
Obviously you don’t need millions in sales to skyrocket the price and value of an empty black top hat. All LQMT has to do is pull the rabbit out. And frankly the way I feel, I don’t care right now which end they pull that rabbit out from.
One contract with one well known mega company and the hype machine of all of those incorrect otc bb market flim flam market gurus will come out of the closet pumping and pumping away. Between the gurus, the hypers and the FOMO’s of new outsiders, no one needs to calculate how much sales will it take to reach $1.00 $5.00 or $20.00.
As it has been said; Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The same beauty that everyone else once saw, (myself included) when they bought LQMT stock in the first place. And it was either greed or naïveté which kept all in who are still in.
And back in 2017 they just authorized over 917 million shares.
Now if you really want to flip out just look at the price of LQMT, the last time,when it was pumping out over $1million a quarter, with less than half of those outstanding shares. Talk about a hangover.
