$TSOI During the meeting, Dr. Ricordi expressed his astonishment and claimed that this was the first time he was hearing about TSOI and their exclusive worldwide patent license agreement (EPLA) with JADI. This revelation caught everyone off guard, as it was presumed that Dr. Ricordi, being the lead investigator with UM and the person responsible for the Phase 2 IND application, would have been fully informed about the licensing arrangements and the promised IND transfer to TSOI, along with unrestricted access to the Master Cell Bank.

The unexpected lack of awareness on Dr. Ricordi's part raised concerns among the attendees. It cast doubt on the communication and coordination between TSOI, JADI, and UM regarding the licensing and IND transfer process. The participants of the Zoom conference call were left puzzled and sought to understand how such a crucial piece of information could have been overlooked or neglected.

To address the confusion and ensure that everyone involved was on the same page, additional discussions were initiated to clarify the situation. TSOI, Patel, Dixon, and Ichim, along with representatives from UM, engaged in further negotiations and information-sharing sessions to bring Dr. Ricordi up to speed with the details of the licensing agreement and the intended IND transfer.

As the discussions progressed, it became apparent that there might have been some miscommunication or administrative oversight that led to Dr. Ricordi's lack of knowledge regarding TSOI and the licensing arrangement. Efforts were made to rectify the situation and provide Dr. Ricordi with all the necessary information and documentation to ensure a clear understanding of the partnership between TSOI, JADI, and UM.

Despite the initial surprise and confusion, the involved parties were committed to resolving the issue and moving forward with the planned Phase 3 study. Regular communication channels were established, and steps were taken to strengthen the collaboration and facilitate a seamless transfer of the IND to TSOI. The participants remained hopeful that any misunderstandings would be addressed and that the project could proceed as intended.
