for Institutions to get more shares they are going to have to run this back up to the $20 to $30 range because time on the clock is running out before the veil lifts, Institutions got the bulk of their shares in the run to 20, but NOT because the Longs were giving up their shares, NOPE, it was MAINLY because they lured Shorts into becoming bagholders!!!

Current LWLG ownership is as follows >>
Retail__________ 94%
Institutions______ 24%
Shorts_________ (18%)
Total___________100%

Blackrock and Vanguard have about 7 million shares each with their averages closer to $10 per share, so I'm betting they will be doubling their holdings any time now at these prices

2023-02-03 13G BlackRock Inc. 7,232,043

I also took a look at Poet and was surprised to see they had declining Institutional holdings each of the past 3 months, and not very high level overall really with around 650k shares total

This of course flies in the face of what Shorts keep telling you about the buying from Institutions being just willy nilly no thought whatsoever, Poet moved to the Nasdaq about a year ago too, they did a 1-10 reverse split to get there though, but the promise of management that by doing so they would get tons of support from Institutions has not materialized like it has for LWLG

also take note of the analysis Xena provided here,

Strategy, IMO, was for some institutions to buy shares and loan them to shorts in order to manipulate the stock. Both stockholders and institutions knew the company was closing in on commercialization so stockholders wouldn't sell cheap and institutions were desperate to get a toehold.

THAT is why the price spiked.

It shows that institutions had to pay dearly for that first 1.5 million and participated in the run up.
The chart shows a surge of BUYING - not SELLING.

Quarterly institutional interest.
