Thanks for the response, but frankly I still do not get how it works.

The primary set of self antigens are recorded in cellular DNA and RNA.

So how and where is this presumably huge database stored and how is it encoded? Even it is there and it is known how it is encoded, it must be a bitch for every T-Cell to do a search on this huge database to se if the antigen it just bumped into is self. Even if possible and true sounds like these searches (of this huge database) would take forever for each of these very many searches going on in each cell.
