Oh yeah they are...
Happy to eat from your hand.
There's a ton of those little runts that run wild in the zoo and they'll jump up and steal your snacks if you're not paying attention. Most of them are really timid but there are a rash of repeat offenders that crave popcorn and chips.
They get used to being fed too much by the patrons and now have a sense of entitlement.
We have names for most of them like one we call Frenchie because it craves fries. Little varmint hangs out right where the big restaurant is and bides his time. Where those little suckers stuff all that junk food, I'll never know but they sure keep coming back for it.
When I got in trouble for feeding the chimp, I thought damn, this is strict but apparently all the zoologists could care less about the ground squirrels. I guess they help clean the place up or something.
