Well, I did a quick read-through of the posting. Lots and lots of info, but couldn't see how most of it interconnected or interacted. When I read this statement, I decided there was no need to go back and do a second, more thorough reading, to try to determine the points the author was trying to make:

Sigma-1 receptors have little to no effect on moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease because some of the receptors and enzymes involved in the onset and initial progression of Alzheimer’s disease become damaged by oxidation and nitration.

The fellow simply doesn't understand how blarcamesine works as a therapy for Alzheimer's. No, blarcamesine does not work as an antioxidant or modulator of "nitration."
