Yes, all of that is true. But in the past, he's been able to get rid of problems by talking his way out of them, or paying people off. Or by tying them up in endless litigation they can't afford.

This is different, though. And I wonder if he's beginning to realize it. If he is, how will he react?

What if the other Republicans in the primary just decided they'd had enough and began to criticize him, as Christie did today? What if he feels he's losing his magic? (Magic as he sees it, naturally.)
