As if times haven't been tough enough for T and VZ, AMZN says they want to get into the wireless business. Hello.

Verizon Communications , AT&T, and T-Mobile U.S. stocks were falling Friday, following a report from Bloomberg that Amazon.com is in talks with those companies, as well as Dish Network, to possibly offer low-cost or even free nationwide mobile phone service to Prime subscribers.

Amazon is negotiating with Verizon, T-Mobile, and Dish Network to get low wholesale prices, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the matter. The talks have also included AT&T at times.
