That’s it?…nothing else came to mind?…nothing but the worst case scenario was the only possibility for the shut down?…how about:

“to improve several aspects of the silk cutting, washing, and opening processes. The results are a set of processing steps and protocols that have proven to improve the silk staple fibre separation and alignment, which will increase the overall quality and uniformity of the composite yarns.

Adding further, the company said it invested in the production equipment necessary for the in-house manufacturing of silk staple fibres to ensure the quality of these processes as it scales up production.”

Sounds to me like they are instituting some new processes and protocols as well as installing new equipment which will all likely require training for the workers…not to mention switching over to new worms…

Given the above, a shutdown while all this is occurring seems pretty reasonable…

If GSS will be making better silk using new processes and equipment, what would be the purpose of continuing to make the lessor type of silk that you have no intention of using?…
