I agree that everyone has a price. But Dr. Lebby spent decades preaching the glory of Photonics, when many scoffed and ridiculed the material. He I believe is the leader in this industry, and helped put brick by brick to build whatever this ends up being. Unless he wants to take the money down and ride into the sunset (which is my goal lol) but I believe that he deserves to, as well as wants to run this company for years. Bill Gates was not forced to sell out, neither was Bezos and we could name many many more that created category dominating companies, and were not forced to sell out to someone bigger.

Some day soon hopefully, we will see the good Doctor, on 60 minutes as they do a vignette on Photonics the way they have done on artificial intelligence, and many other disruptive technologies.
