Good Grief Man... Your statement is not being used in the proper context.

He (Sharp) meant six lengths off of the 2nd place position... AND... That no one was going to catch the front runner as he had a 107 speed rating (which is insanely fast running on a world class track).

Anyone...and I mean anyone familiar with racing can understand this.

The astonishing part in my mind, is that some might actually think this was a convincing argument that Sharp lied about his horse.

An odd comment to make by Sharp in my opinion, perhaps a bit needy in a "Hey dudes, Hot-Rod hung in there" kind of way
... but certainly not a lie.
