There is certainly other "potential" competition

If you read the links there have been >1 about Shionogi and their 3CL Protease Inhibitor. It is just starting PH III RCT.
There are 1-2 others but none FDA approved xcept Pax.
Molnupiravir had EUA but not sure current--it does not work very well at keeping people out of hospital IIRC

But no other OTC 3CL PI

Sad there is no $$ for TolloVIR trial--guess can dilute more LOL
