This was a dog and pony show without a pony. Really, this is typical of any public facing pr meeting having to do with government at any level. If you've ever been to a city council meeting you'll notice that things move along apace because they were discussed well in advance of the meeting as to what decisions would be made, probably everyone knew which way everybody else was going to vote. Council would nod their heads while not listening to public commentary, if any was taken.

All of the important stuff happens before, or after, off camera. I hope that was LP in the front row. If so, something useful is happening.
