Some kind of status, even just saying "we're still negotiating" is what I'd expect to see if they miss the date from their own PR.

They did update us on the 16th:

If they were still negotiating terms considering ENZC's recent daily market value, I would think SAGA now has extra leverage due to ENZC's stock performance since that date.

The date by which Sagaliam has to complete its business combination has been extended from April 23, 2023, to May 23, 2023. The Extension is the fifth of ten one-month extensions permitted under Sagaliam's governing documents and provides the Company with additional time to complete its business combination. (source)

There could still be an announcement. It's only two days after the date (May 23) quoted above. However it's still unclear if a SAGA deal would be profitable for ENZC shareholders given the lack of details so far.
