Elroy, That Forbes article was from 2011, so well before the current falling out between the US and China.

I figure a good analogy is that the US (Gambinos) and Europe (Genovese), are being challenged by China (Lucchese) and Russia (Bonnanos), with the rest of world (Colombos) still neutral. So basically a big 'dick fight' by the bigshots of the world to see who will dominate the planet. The key may be which faction the 'rest of world' contingent ultimately side with.
