I picked up his recent opinion/writings on LWLG on a Dutch forum …

Dixit Brecht Arnaert from SafeCapital:

Why I am positive about the course of LWLG

The polymer material from Lightwave Logic works exceptionally well and greatly surpasses current materials when added to a slot modulator.
LWLG's technology is integrated into the Process Design Kits (PDKs) of chip factories and additional technical problems have been solved, meaning the tech practically works.
At the PIC conference, Lebby stated that volume production is already working in smaller foundries and, based on current results, they can move towards commercialization.
The bottleneck for larger foundries to switch to LWLG tech was that they still used gold (!) for certain electrodes, which is too expensive on a large scale.
However, LWLG was able to report success with aluminum electrodes, strongly suggesting that this is the final major step towards the switch to CMOS-based production.
FYI: CMOS is the name of a technique that is standard in large foundries and stands for "Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor." When that is implemented, it's bingo.
What I suspect, therefore, is that Lebby will announce a deal with a smaller foundry while continuing to work on CMOS integration with the larger foundries.
LWLG recently hired a "deal closer." That's a nice word for a "salesperson." His name: Atikem Hailemariam. This indicates to me that we are getting close. Otherwise, you wouldn't hire someone like that.
In my view, the price has mainly fallen due to macroeconomic troubles. If you look at it, almost all companies that are still in the pre-income phase have fallen.
This is logical because those companies often finance themselves with loans, and those are increasingly difficult to refinance due to the steadily rising interest rates of the FED (which is now at 5%).
Shorters take advantage of such news to push the price down even harder, hoping that the little guy (you and me) will lose heart. Then you get sales and even lower prices.
Conclusion: my advice is not to worry about that and buy where you can. In my opinion, this is one of the last times you will be able to buy below $5. However, I would spread that purchase: some before the ASM, some after. If the price drops after the ASM, you will benefit greatly
