May had been a total bust for QQQ until it finally broke out of a 6-week channel back on May 10th. QQQ is now up 3.88% and TQQQ is up 3.84% (1X). April was a totally lost month and it was so depressing.
The Mar 15 to Apr 19 run yielded 6.6%. So I am officially showing QQQ to be up 22.8% ytd vs a buy and hold of 26.6%. Waiting out the channel breakout did cost some % points. But that will all be made up when a real PB comes.
SPY is just now joining the party, so it would be nice if the trends continue, but M65 is getting way OB for QQQ.
