EDITED - Yes I switched out MACD for PPO, but not standard settings.

Standard settings for both MACD and PPO are (12,26,9). I changed this to a faster moving (8,13,5). Quicker in, quicker out, but with this comes the chance for a few more false positives possible. These faster settings work the same way in both MACD and PPO.

The MACD y-axis reports the absolute difference between the two moving averages, the first two numbers of the three-number setting. The PPO y-axis performs the same computation but reports the results as a percentage. The only reason I made this change was so I could draw horizontal lines at 1 and -1, and these lines would have the same relative position on every chart. I use the area between these two lines as the mid-field range, not unlike mid-field on a football field grid between the two 40-yard lines. Indicates suddenness of momentum.

I also changed the 9MA and 20EMA lines (where I was looking at the crossings of these two as confirmation to the MACD signals). I changed these to 13MA and 65EMA (where I am just looking at above or below as relative trend direction. The 13MA being a short-term trend/support line, and the 65EMA being a longer-term trend/support line.

EDIT - Added the below;

You also use PPO xo0 on histo as signal?

As buy signal, yes, and 8MA,13EMA cross on rollover as sell signal. GLTY
