Wafer scale poling works TODAY per independent parties outside of LWLG.

How about this…google around one of the gentlemen who said wafer scale poling works today and maybe put some real dots together.

To pole a device you increase the temperature to the Tg at a rate of 10 degrees C per minute and then let it cool in a relatively quick fashion.

From room temperature to the Tg it’ll take ~15 minutes to reach Tg and pole the device.

A wafer should contain 1,000+ modulators EASYYYYY. Likely multiples of that if each modulator PIC contains 4 modulators in a 4x200 array.

So in 30 minutes you can pole an entire wafer.
