If XERI's share price didn't get slammed nearly every time they put out a PR based on anything less than a definitive agreement, they probably would be providing us with more frequent updates. But, since that's the environment many high-growth potential OTC stocks are dealing with these days, retail investors unfortunately have to cobble together bits and pieces of news in a frustrating attempt to understand what the f--- is going on with their investments. To make matters worse, conspiracy theories based on fear and suspicion of wrong doing tend to fill the vacuum -- driving the share price lower and lower.
I have known XERI's CEO for over 7 years -- and not once in all that time have I known him to lie to me about anything. Ever. That's not to say that deadlines -- whether internally or externally-imposed -- haven't been met or that things didn't always work out as originally planned. But I never expected my investment in XERI to be anything but a long hold, since the company's business model isn't designed to produce quick hits.
They are a holding company that identifies visionary (and hopefully synergistic) companies that are not yet at the commercial stage -- but which show tremendous growth potential which needs to nurtured. At the same time, they look for opportunities to generate near-term revenue from related business relationships.
That appears to be EXACTLY what XERI is doing in the case of NexBoards and their plans for working with TMF corporation, NNC, and those other major home builders. Which is why I keep trying to point out the critical importance of the test production efforts of TMF as the potential trigger that could easily turn NexBoards into an overnight success. XERI seems to have a lot of the puzzle pieces in place -- and the big picture is becoming clearer every day. At least to me it is.
