Anyone still paying broker fees is working with the wrong broker. I haven't ever paid a broker fee with Fidelity, even for trades of penny stocks like Todos. Nor have I paid any fees on non-Fidelity mutual funds that have a front-end load. They are waived buying through Fidelity. No account fees either, on any of my accounts. They also give me Turbotax Premier for free every year.
