So you agree that the buying on Friday could have been the first phase in a pump-and-dump. The one where they are accumulating shares? Like I suggested? It’s like a “buy-pump-dump” scheme.

That would have to be followed by some sort of pump or another. With the volume so low at KBLB, it might be possible to execute a series of low-share-count buys at higher and higher prices, creating the illusion that KBLB was ‘on the move,’ then hoping others jump on the bandwagon to pump even higher before dumping their position. Perhaps they have a different plan for how to pump the share price up.

Still three options for the buy on Friday:

1) Insider trading;
2) Pump and dump;
3) Stupid investor

No one has come up with another alternative. Suggestions that someone had decided to ‘pull the trigger’ to buy shares of KBLB can’t escape the fact that they probably overpaid by a significant margin by choosing to place their buys 1) on the same day; 2) late in the day; 3) on a Friday. They could have saved a bunch of money spreading out the buys over 2 or 3 days and not packing them into a time period when lots of investors have taken off. I count that as stupid.
