I HIGHLY doubt there are many trucking companies running around Canada today, without the REQUIRED CERTIFIED ELD already operating in their trucks.
So does he expect a bunch of folks who already complied with the law, to now throw out their ELD's just because his finally got certified?
He and others can jump up & down about how great his is, compared to the others, but the others got certified. That means they are able to do what they are required to do.
Having owned CDL trucks, which were for something other than hauling goods, I can tell you that at this stage in the new law, all I would care about is keeping up with the law and getting the task at hand done. (In their case, hauling goods is the task, not minding if someone else claims their ELD is superior.)
A sure sign that the debate has been won:
When the response is an attack against the other person.
