I get mathematically they are not in trouble yet (And I truely believe they are gonna turn this around). But they have lost 11/14 games, and they have lost to teams like the tigers, and the rockies, and the nats, this is not exactly like they were facing the elite.

I get that there pitching staff has been hurt, but Im getting inpatient. They have been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse to watch than there record.

Let me tell you why, they are constantly behind because there pitchers give up runs out of the gate. There starter never go deep in these games, even 5 inning is a stretch, I mean you cannot sustain this forever, they have to pitch 5 inning consistently I mean every game I see buck warming up the bullpen in the 3rd and 4th inning.

The bullpen is gonna get exhausted if they keep doing this. And why have they been terrible to watch let me tell you alot of games there offense just doesn't fire. In fact they were shut out 8 times last year, the whole year, this year they have allready done it 6 times. They have scored 2 runs or less 13 times. So they have been consistently bad offensively. And don't get me started on the pitching Peterson has been such a disappointed, I was practically celebrating went they sent him back to triple A. Carrasco has flat out stunk and than got injured. Megill has been just okay. Verlander has been hurt and just made his first start. We havn't seen quintana. We inexplicably have tried to forfeit games, by Have Reyes start a game on a bullpen game with only 50 pitches when your bullpen has been heavily used. Today we start lucchesi on short rest, how did that go. They have made questionable decision like Trying to force feed us escobar who stinks. And they are finally getting it through there thick skulls that escobar, and Nido need to sit for Alvarez and Baty it took them long enough.

There starting staff goes about the shortest time, which if this keeps up the bullpen will eventually completely implode. The mets lead the world in walks as a pitching staff, they walk the world it is outright troubiling how many walks this pitching staff allows. The team doesn't hit for any power. Thing is they are terrible to watch, they are lucky to be 1 game under .500 with the way they played the first 35 games, if you watch what I have the first 35 games.

And don't forget this was a smart team last year. This has been a dumb team this year. Let me gives you examples Vogelback inexplicably wondering between 2nd and 3rd and getting thrown out before the run scores in the first. How about Nimmo the other day down 2-0, Get thrown out trying to steal 2nd in the 9th when your down 2-0. His run means nothing. I could give you countless other exaples. This team has played so poorly I consider the mets lucky that they haven't buried themselves like St. Louis. I get what your saying and my brain is telling me all of this stuff is not gonna continue and they will turn it around and it won't take that mcuh to be a wc, they are all true. But so far I have been completely unimpressed with how the mets have played this season even in there wins they do stuff, to not impress you, they have not played very well, when I think 17-18, I think the mets are lucky to be there because they have played alot of easy opponents and they have done this. Keep in mind they have won just 3/ last 14 games. At some point they need to wake up. Because even when they were winning, they didn't look that impressive in my opinion.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
