It does appear odd that we have been identified as being in the basic materials category. It just shows how much Lightwave is misunderstood by the market. There is nothing basic about LWLG.
Dr. Lebby has said "we are a chemical company". That too doesn't tell people enough but technically it is correct.
Ultimately we should be included in the semiconductor manufacturing category. That is the point of their products, to improve the quality and stability of semiconductors in the manufacturing process.

Think of all the mutual funds and etfs that focus on the semiconductor market. That market is huge. To be included in the indexes and in semiconductor sector funds would be magical.
