Exactly. Quote past behavior, personal thoughts, patterns and discovered, or other pertinent information. But...."I talked to the CEO and he said" can only be followed by useless information. Anything else is, or borders on, SEC violations.
The only possible reason I can imagine my calling a CEO would be for reassurance, because I might have latent concerns and just looking for a mental boost. Not saying it's harmful, but again; useless.
