I don't remember Russia talking about biolabs, prior to their invasion of Ukraine. Do you? IMO Putin is clearly on a path to re-estsblish the Soviet Union

The same reason he invaded Georgia and his earlier invasion of Ukraine. I don't think that most of the newer members of NATO have any intention of invading Russia.

Having been under the heel of the USSR, the fear that Putin wants them back under Russia's control, so, they joined NATO.

As for the bio labs, in Ukraine. I think they are probably there because Ukraine is easy to do business with.. I don't think they are there to wage germ warfare against Russia.

Biolabs aren't necessarily biological warfare labs.
