Watch for vague, emotionally laden "answers" to specific questions. For some questions, you might not even get a "We won't or can't answer that because...."

For example, try the question, "How many kilowatt hours of electricity are produced by a Pratt and Whitney genset from the fuel derived by the Rivera Process from a bushel of soybeans?

Very simple, basic question, one that any potential customer would ask. See if you can get a simple, factual answer. After all, it's just a number. The answer to this question must surely be known, or it's difficult to imagine a process by which a sales contract could be negotiated.
