More evidence pointing to long term effects of covid infection. Cant be surprised--we know of the endothelial damage. Easy connect the dots to cardiovascular issues. They talk about inflammation SHOULD decrease and physiological functions SHOULD go back to normal. Not likely if there is viral persistence. So far the only effective treatment is a 3CL Protease Inhibitor. Paxlovid is 1--it is Rx only--if you are elgible--if available--and know the DDI.
Shionogi has 1 but it is not started PHIII trial yet.
Then there is TolloVID. It is OTC. Developed by Dr Dorit Arad/Israel. Product of Todos Medical.

those who had been diagnosed with mild Covid, artery and central cardiovascular function were affected by the disease two to three months after infection.

Usually, you’d expect inflammation to decrease with time after infection, and for all the physiological functions to go back to normal or a healthy level.

Participants for the study, which was part of the University of Split’s NormPreven project, were mostly aged under 50 and healthy
