How many others could say the same?

Randy Lewis has worked on modifying silkworms to produce spider silk. I think he could scrape up a fiber.

Enteric was in the business for a while. He could send something in.

How many others out there? Wouldn’t surprise me if there were more names that could be tossed into the ring. Some have better academic credentials and no long history of production failures.

I doubt that investors are the only ones who see the extensive scroll of promises unfulfilled. The Air Force may decide to take on a different group with less baggage.

This whole discussion is premature IMHO. More will be known when the RFP comes out and if KBLB ever manages to produce silk. If they were to announce several hundreds of kilos of silk produced: game changer.
