Infineon builds one of the largest semiconductor factories in Europe in Klotzsche

The semiconductor manufacturer is stepping up the pace in expanding its semiconductor production capacities. Also at the Dresden site: With the construction of the new "Smart Power Fab", the company is making the largest investment in its history. The starting point is the growing global demand for semiconductors - for example for applications to generate renewable energies, for use in data centers and for electromobility. With the construction of the "Smart Power Fab" for 300-millimeter wafers in Dresden, Infineon is creating the conditions to be able to meet the growing demand for semiconductor solutions.
