This could be a great idea for many reasons!!! Microsoft could gain as pointed out in this article, PC vendors could gain as well because many of the older PCs need SEDs in them and need upgrading, Wave could benefit by being able to manage existing PCs with SEDs and those who need TPMs managed and activated!!! And the environment would benefit from not having all the PCs needed to be upgraded so soon!!
And this could massively lessen the security risk for organizations!!!
