Really never understood this:

Our government has allowed auto makers to put self driving vehicles on the road, yet there is zero the government does to put seat belts on school buses to protect children.
In regards to the parking garage collapse myths pertaining to Tesla let’s be clear on the facts.


A standard Tesla weighs 3500 LBS
A long range Tesla weighs 4000 LBS

A 2023 Chevy Impala weighs 3700 LBS
A 2023 Dodge Ram weighs 4700 LBS
A 2023 Chevy Tahoe weighs 5500 LBS

Just a few examples

So the question or rebuttal of Tesla being the cause of the building collapse is absurd.

What percentage of vehicles in that garage were of the variety just mentioned vs. Tesla?

Not to mention all the other NON EV vehicles such as Mercedes,Audi,Chevy suburbans ETC.

So, I don’t believe the Tesla or other EV had anymore impact on that collapse.

Just good ol’ fashioned aging structural collapse would be my guess.
