"Don't know what you mean by "academic evidence." I'm referring to evidence that would stand up to rigorous peer review from research experts in the field.

For instance, a new therapy tested on 1,000 disease sufferers my help 3 people from that 1,000 but that doesn't prove anything if 700 of them die from side effects, or if ten of them would be expected to recover with no medical intervention at all. Baloney like that keeps a lot of scammy microcap biomed stocks trading for decades in pennyland.

BTW, nice seeing BRK-a approaching $500,000 again.
