In 1972, we moved from Denver to WA, about 60 mi north of Seattle. We were enthralled by the beauty of Puget Sound and the surrounding mountains. Our 3 kids were14, 13, &9.
Three or 4 times a year we drive down to Seattle, to spend the day shopping on Pike Street. eating at Ivars House of Clams and other iconic eating places and going to sporting events. Wonderful times.
Tonight, Will Cane stood in for Jessie Watters and covered those areas. What a sad, drastic change. The predominate feature---drugs and street people.
Something that hit me. Do gooders, parked in large trucks, passing out cases of bottled water. The best of intentions-Right?
The homeless, carrying the bottles to parking lots and dumping the water on the ground and selling the empty bottles for drug money.
