forgot to tell ya, nice find on the quarters. thats bu or about bu condition or grading. bu meaning bought uncirculated. i have a $10 tube of bu 1960 ben franklin halves. hold'm till ya die or desperately need them. the $20 tube of silver eagles is the way to go though as long as its .999 or .9999 your good to go in any melt down of the economy ! i like the maple leafs cuz there .9999. only thing is there a lot more expensive now than when i put my collection together. the last $50 gold eagle i bought was at $440 an oz. to give ya an idea how long its been. but i still manage maybe once every few years to find some silver in my change as i always look at it like you. i know how that stuff looks and especially sounds and pick up right away on it when its given to me. last score was a buffalo nickel. its not silver but i saw it quick. automatically worth 8 bux if just the date is visible !
