The ownership change was imho necessary to differentiate HOLDERS OF THE ORIGINAL WMI assets versus ownership in the newco WMIH, essentially showing a difference in LEGACY holders of WAMU(WMI) and the OWNERS of the reorg'd debtor WMIH, which are two completely different company's.....

Necessary because WHIH has nothing what so ever to do with the OLD WNI(WAMU) holders.
The reorg'd debtors estate according to doc's we've see, CAN NOT RECEIVE ANY OF THE ORIGINAL DEBTORS ESTATE/ASSETS, short of the possible 2.5% of any cash distributions.

Like all here, I just wish we could get some indication as to if we are HERO OR ZERO in this deal.
