My Take On The Show Tonight
Overall I thought this was decent show. Lets get to it.
1) Elise- Singing a BT Classic. Started out a little off, and than got into it, and started singing very well through the middle and especially the end of the song. Overall a good but not great performance. She does have incredible Vocal Talent though that is for sure. Grade B
2) Oliver- A very different song for him. But I thought he sang Well, and it was yet another good but not great performance for me. Grade B
3) Matt- A good R & B Singer who found and excellent song for him. I personally thought he sang very well. And this was the best we heard from him. In My opinion a very, very good performance. Grade A-
4) Kaeyra- Singing another one of my many favorite songs, and my favorite song from EV. Wasn't perfect, but a decent vocal. Although it paled to the original. Grade B-
5) Pjae- Sang a JS Song. I didn't love the song choice. And I thought the arrangement was a mess. I thought the vocal was very strange, and the quality of the vocal was below average for me. I really didn't like it. Grade D+
6) Zachariah- Sang a LR Song, and don't think this is the best song for singing competiton. Having said that this guy is an infectious performer, and he has a pretty solid voice. I liked it and thought it was decent, although I admit he is probably not for everyone. Grade B-
7) Mariah- Sang a CS Song. I thought it was the wrong song choice for her. I thought it was off in parts and definetly missing something and bit boring. I thought it was below average. Grade C-
8) Emma- Sang a SS Song. I thought she had a good vocal overall, she does make some unique vocal choice though, but overall I thought it was a good song choice, a good vocal, and a good performance. Grade B
9) Warren- Not the song choice I expected from him to say the least. Have to say he completely changed that song. And I really Liked the way he did that. I thought it was very good. Grade B+
10) Nailyah- Liked the 1rst half much better than the second half, where she sped up. I will say this to sing this song, you have to hit the high pitch note. She hit the high pitch note, which isn't easy to say the least. Not my favorite style, but she can sing. I thought it was decent for me. Grade B-
11) Haven- Picked the right song out of the two she was debating on. Actually performed for a change which is a departure from the singer/songwritter type she normally is. She is a pretty good song writter. Having said that, this is a singing competition, and although her vocal were better than I expected, her voice is not strong enough in my opinion. Barely an average performance. Grade C
12) Lucy- Not her biggest fan to say the least. I don't love her tone, and sometimes I don't like the way she prenounes her words, and she sure does love to scream at times, and oversing. Judges continue to like her. I simply just don't get it. Below average for me. Grade C-
13) I'AM- Overall I liked the performance very much, and thought it was a very good song choice. Best he has been since his audition I thought it was very good. Grade B+

The other 9 should stay in my opinion. At the end of this week we go down from 26 to 20. I see 4 that could easily be eliminated in this group. we will see the other 13 tomorrow. All is just my opinion of course.
