It’s getting harder and harder to find any heroes in our government, apparently made even worse and more brazen by witnessing and abetting so called leaders who have no regard for our own laws and ostensibly getting away with it.

This seems to be both major parties and unfortunately the very “free market “ that represents a fair playing field that those who try hard and invest in reap success and failures.

The market appears to be more rigged as the layers of the onion are peeled off, and I truly am concerned about what my children and grandchildren are inheriting.

When moral compass fades, the craziness we see increasingly in the news becomes the norm.

So let’s keep a dude who campaigned and won a seat in Congress on a completely fraudulent resume in congress, despite not having the qualifications and demonstrating an unbelievable background of falsehood.

Let’s also allow sanctioned rape of retail investors, and why stop at retailer, and we can applaud and honor the perpetrators of alleged wrongdoing. Just slap them with meaningless fines that are dwarfed by the gains to be had. And let’s name stuff after them too as if true role model heroes of capitalism.

After all, all the real players are in on the game so what’s wrong with members of Congress, judges, and market makers and even the CEOs, investing with conflicts of interest.

What does it matter?

You reap what you sow and our descendants aren’t going to the movies and watching great actors model the right and moral and compassionate and honest and caring characters we baby boomers grew up on.

Maybe we were duped from the beginning but I sure hope not!!!
