Mr. James C. Katzaroff has more than three decades of experience in developing and implementing corporate strategy as well as corporate engineering for innovative technology companies, supported by a focus on fostering critical investment banking and private and strategic investor relationships.   Associates and clients trust Mr. Katzaroff with their business needs because of his record of crafting solutions to the complex issues that challenge growth companies. He has worked with both private enterprises and publicly-traded firms, both by serving as a capital funding consultant, and through service as CEO as well as COO of several publicly-traded firms.   

 

Mr. Katzaroff’s career as a serial entrepreneur began in high school , importing minerals and pewter from Brazil. After completing his degree at UC Santa Barbara, he started his financial career with Bateman Eichler, Smith Barney and EF Hutton.   In 1998, be founded and began publishing, the “TriVest Financial Chronicles” newsletter, while also serving as a strategic funding consultant to innovative technology development corporations.  


In 1998, he joined Telemac, an LA-based international communication services company where he was responsible for corporate strategy, international market development, and investor relationships.     A strong desire to make an unshakable impact in the fight against cancer led Jim to found Advanced Medical Isotope Corporation (Vivos Inc.) in 2006 where he served as Chairman and CEO of Vivos Inc. through 2016. Earning the Richland Rotary Club and TRIDEC recognition for outstanding entrepreneurial contributions to this region’s economy, Jim also received a Federal Laboratory Consortium ‘Excellence’ award for Technology Transfer , ‘Injectable Radiogel for High-Dose Interstitial Radiation Therapy. During his decade at Vivos, he built a nuclear technology incubator, which included securing a robust patent portfolio, advancing several technologies through critical development milestones (including several for which the firm earned national awards) and became positioned to bring initial products/services to market. 


Mr. Katzaroff has previously served on nonprofit boards including as Vice Chairman of Go Nuclear Inc, as Vice Chairman of the Fighting Children’s Cancer Foundation, as Board Member for Life Science Washington (formerly known as the Washington State Biotechnology and Biomedical Association), and as a Board Member of the Santa Barbara Boys and Girls Club.
