On March 23rd I answered an identical statement by you

TA is never useless in any company because TA measures/evaluates/analyzes each tick (trade) representing a consensus of value for a company by the trading universe.

How do you measure something that does not exist? Can TA analyze votes/ticks in the future? No, it cannot. But it can produce strong probabilities of future price response based on trends and repeatable price patterns of those votes.

AMRN is a classic example of a chart filled with beautiful TA tradeable events, price behavior and most of all, price patterns! In fact you could write the better part of a book on TA patterns simply using the AMRN chart over the past 5yrs --take a look:

Now contrast that chart with the following chart displaying the unexpected price response to the FA events over the past 5 years:

Clearly, the TA chart was the only path that guided positive gains in AMRN. It was the only method that gave/gives clear signals whether to be long, short, or sheltered in a safe harbor.

TA has to look back far enough to produce long, medium, and short term trends.
Those unwilling to "look back" at AMRN because of a dogmatic belief that TA is useless in the case of a Company like AMRN will fail to see the powerful effect of the down trendline representing bearish control over this company.

Truer words have never been spoken: "The tend is your friend", yet so many continue to grab on to the hope of a counter-trend reversal, while the TA pros gladly pummel their misguided position.

Yes, I do "specialize in hindsight TA analysis" because it is the only safe way to make money and avoid shark bites!
