Senator Luz Ebensperger from the UDI party will be in that office for 6 months. I am sure Anti-Mining Marcela Hernando knew Senator Luz Ebensperger was going to "rotate" into this powerful position for 6 months and this might be the reason why she (Marcela) is stonewalling/boycotting giving lithium-related testimony before any congressional committees currently looking into the "inner workings" of the bureaucrats "lording over" the lithium mining industry in Chile. I have a feeling Senator Luz Ebensperger could easily ream leftist/commie Marcela a newasshole within 5 minutes of putting Marcela on the witness stand.

This situation bears watching given how powerful the Senate Mining Commission is within the Senate on actually setting national mining policy.
