NNVC would first have to successfully complete the IND approval process in India before running a clinical trial in India:

If NNVC had completed that process, Diwan would have been shouting it from the rooftops. They are almost certainly nowhere close to running a clinical trial in India.

But at least they finally are saying they are about to run a trial. Costs will be cheaper in India. It's a good way to finally see if these drugs are safe and effective in humans. More to come.
