I’m in between family time, so I’ll take a few minutes to chime in.

The industry as a whole is demanding lower power and faster modulators. Countless company presentations, videos, and white papers prove that. There’s even an article from our buddy Andy where he says the industry should focus its efforts right now on faster, lower power modulators.

Right now the only options are Silicon Photonics modulators, and just recently TFLN became available for implementation in transceivers. EO polymer modulators have superior characteristics compared to TFLN that are abundantly documented and RIGHT NOW are being designed into transceivers. Facts.

Google, Apple, Facebook, Microsoft, etc. are the hyperscale data centers who demand increased performance and power efficiency. As LWLG has stated, there is PULL by the hyperscalers to get LWLG’s technology available since the performance characteristics are known to be superior to any other technology.

The hyperscalers generally don’t make their own transceivers. There’s dozens, if not hundreds, of other companies that develop them and then sell to the hyperscalers.

The excitement about the Silorix device is VERY REAL (not supposed) because the size and speed is INSANE. Find me another modulator technology that is that excellent, and simple. You won’t. No one here will. Just because Silorix is small doesn’t diminish the significance. A foundry that’s capable of producing thousands of wafers per year dedicated to LWLG would be the one producing these devices anyway.

LWLG is not on the outside looking in. Everyone in the industry knows about LWLG and EO polymers. Hell, some of us know that some of the highest up in the ecosystem actually own LWLG stock! And spending just 24 hours at a photonics conference I was able to hear directly from industry players of varying sizes that they will buy EOP modulators when available. Some may be more excited than others, sure, but that’s because EOP modulators will displace a LOT of business and many will not like it. And for those who don’t trust EOP, that’s fine, it’s because the industry was plagued with flawed material from another company for decades and they haven’t had the chance to try LWLG’s…yet. Even early iterations of Perkinamine had issues, but data over the last few years shows the issues are behind us. Now, it's process engineering.

Some here know this, but it is a fact that LWLG management has had meetings with at least some of the above listed hyperscalers. Maybe all? But I know at least two. Marcelli is actually family friends with one of the highest up at one of the above listed companies. Maybe that’s why we keep him around lol. So when LWLG tells us shareholders that they are getting pulled by the giants, we should believe them. Lying to us shareholders could land them in jail.

All this time ‘studying’ LWLG and some REALLY still don’t know what’s going on.

PS – I won’t respond to that previous post, but in Andy’s email, you said he said “initial production” but you misquoted him because he actually said “production”. And to the technical audience at OFC, the precise wording was HIGH VOLUME MANUFACTURING. Shoot...if HVM is 2026 we'll have already blown past all time highs well before that time.

But oh wait...Lebby said Andy's estimate was WRONG!
