You are correct Boston. Trainer doesn't know very much about Tesla expenses. I have owned one for eight years, I speak from experience not with a forked tongue.
More facts for trainer:
1. My insurance for my 2015 Tesla Model S costs me much more than my much newer Chevy Silverado 75% more Property taxes almost the same and the sales tax was astronomical when I first bought the Tesla.
I asked my insurer why so much more and he said when most Teslas get into a accident, the cost to repair them is so high they just total a lot of the claims. Tesla has you captive to any kind of repairs which you get highly ripped off for also because they won't sell their parts to anyone. There are alot of mom and pop shops out there that will do the work cheaper, Tesla won't sell them the parts.
By the time most Tesla buyers get to the real expenses to own a Tesla, it's already too late.
