The Congress will be introducing a new law to repeal the over-complicated Byzantine 1979 restrictions on lithium to once again make it a manageable concessionable mineral like copper, cobalt, gold, silver etc in order to regain control of lithium oversight which is a total mess right now (to wit the last Supreme Court decision). Everyone is going to realize that Anti-Mining Minister Marcela Hernando truly has no focking idea and no focking workable plan for managing lithium in Chile and the rising fear that Argentina is going to stomp Chile into the ground on lithium production is "motivating" every lawmaker in Chile now to get this lithium mineral exploitation program solved in an airtight fashion before 2026 and the return to power of a "law & order" re-stabilizing right-wing government in Chile.
