Bolio; No, this was through my insurance Humana. It was offered as part of my Medicare Advantage Plan. Have you tried the Vascepa Coupon at COSTCO? For uninsured "Private Purchase" I still paid over $500 for a 90 script at Costco.

Are you retirement age? Do you meet the minimum criteria? 150 mg/dl TGs and at risk for any CVD indication, family history, elevated blood pressure? Actually a lot depends upon your prescriber. I had issues with Express Scripts too (United Healthcare). Vascepa wasn't on their formulary so I had to shop elsewhere. I had Blue Cross for a while until I found out on this board that BCBS was no longer putting Vascepa on their formulary. This past year I changed over to Humana, hope they continue to offer Vascepa on their plan.
